All pieces are antiqued, clay parts have a gloss finish. These reproductions are inspired by dolls found in European and American households in the early 1800's. Head, hands and legs are constructed of a durable composition clay. the primitive body is made of muslin. The entire doll has been given an antiqued finish. The arms are all clay and attached to the body with a looped wire at the shoulder and elbows and hang loosely and are slightly pose-able. The upper leg is stuffed with an elongated clay leg attached. To fully support this top heavy doll, a shaft is constucted inside the doll's torso to insert a dowel (included). The dowel can be inserted into the wooden doll stand (included).
 
Her torso is made of clay covered cloth.Her sculpted hair is styled in an 18th century updo , a ribbon garland of gold braid and  dark red ribbon crowns her head. Earrings of faceted black beads dangle from her ears. She has eyes that are beautifully painted a translucent brown. A golden ring with teal cabochon in worn on her hand. Her rich teal colored painted bodice is embellished in embossed clay scroll filagree.  Her over skirt is an antiqued deep red fabric covered in a sparling sheer black mesh. The base of her skirt is edged with gold metallic braid and deep red ribbon. Gathered black mesh and bols braid finish the sleeves. She wears a muslin underskirt and a fixed muslin bum-roll under her skirts. Her teal heeled shoes have golden button accents.
 
She carries a banner on a golden rod with finials. The red and teal banner is made of heavy hand cut papers The rod is gold painted wood with removable finials so it can slide through her hands for her to hold. Just pop the finials back on when done. She is able to be displayed seated. Exercise care when displaying her as some parts are fragile.
