Gorgeous art piece for display as a centerpiece, or for the mantle.

These reproductions are inspired by dolls found in European and American households in the early 1800's. Head, hands and feet are constructed of a durable composition clay. the primitive body is made of muslin. The entire doll has been given an antiqued finish. Hands and feet are attached with ecru ribbon, the upper arms are stuffed and attached to the dress separately. All clay parts on the doll are hand sculpted using no molds.

The frame is very antiqued and features gold washed decorative flourishes and gilded accents. Magnets hold the lid closed. The backing is made of decorative paper of deep red and ecru that are grungied for an authentically aged appearance. It is suggested that a stand (not included) be used to hold the shadow box. There are two hanger brackets on the back for the wall.

This  OOAK 11" doll is dressed in an antiqued red polka dot fabric. A tan satin ribbon is tied about her bust, lace surrounds her neckline. An apron is tied over her dress  Her hair is painted brown and sculpted into curl clusters at the front her head, a lace pleated caplet finished her look.  The doll can be removed, if desired, by cutting the twine that runs through the backing.

The doll is mounted a doll presentation set that depicts a stocked toy shop. It is aged to appear vintage. All toys in this set and secured to the card with twine, but are permanently fixed in their boxes. The card is permanently attached to the backing.  Toys are constructed of clay, chipboard, fabric, and metal. Most toys are hand molded and assembled.
