This 1810's lady is ready for a patriotic pageant!
 
This is a handmade piece and will vary slightly from the photo. You choose the skin and hair color. You may choose the eye color too, just state brown, blue, hazel, or green in the "message to seller" at checkout. This piece will take 3 weeks to complete.
 
This OOAK (One of a Kind) Doll is handmade and inspired by the European and American households of the early 1800s. The doll features a durable composition clay head, hands, and feet, while the body is made of muslin with an antiqued finish. All the clay parts are hand sculpted without using any molds, making this doll a unique art piece. The upper arms are stuffed and attached to the dress separately, and the hands and feet are attached with ecru ribbon. Please note that this is not a toy but rather an art doll that cannot be undressed.
 
The doll is dressed in an off-white muslin dress with an ecru satin ribbon tied about her bust and ecru braid surrounding her neckline. A red/ white striped swag is draped around her body, blue starry fabric is looped in the front and back, goldwork and a trio of paper roses embellishes her shoulder. Her sculpted hair is painted in the color of your choice and styled in curl clusters around her face and a curly bun atop her head.  She wears a crown of shiny foiled stars. Her eyes are painted brown and detailed. Her hands are molded so that the flagpole can slide though he hands (one at a time) and appear to  hold the flag across her shoulder. An old-fashioned handmade and antiqued paper flag on a wooden rod is included in this set. The flag is made like one from 1810.
